It was the best of times

I really enjoy my english class, mostly because I enjoy class discussion of literary works, and just class discussion in general.  Mostly because everyone has something to add to the discussion, and often times I find myself picking up things I had never even thought of.  I volunteer in class, I’m not the only one talking but people would recognize my voice, and I wonder if people gain things from the pieces I put in class.  Probably not, I’m pretty average I think when it comes to creative thinking.  I enjoy this class even more because the guy teaching is this awesome dude who really stimulates discussion and I value the things he has to say, and because the smartest kid in the class is quiet and isn’t one of the obnoxious kids that nobody likes, he will maybe speak once a class but whatever he says make sense and often garners more discussion in class.  You can tell he has more to add but doesn’t want to talk all that much.  I really respect that.
